The Office of Health Professions Advising at Duke is committed to providing holistic advising to all Duke undergraduates interested in preparing for a career in the health professions. Our comprehensive, personalized advising begins your first year and can continue for up to five years post-graduation with everything from course planning, experiential preparation, application process and acceptance management. In addition to advising we offer information sessions, a weekly newsletter with announcements and opportunities, and mock interviews. (Please note that we are not able to meet with or advise prospective students.)
All advising is based on your graduating class. Please open the section below which matches your graduation year. Please note that you may have one advisor for your first-year and sophomore year and a different advisor for your junior/senior/alum years. Transfer students should see the end of the list for your advisor. Duke Kunshan students should meet with DKU Office of Undergraduate Advising.
Please do not make appointments with more than one advisor or send multiple emails for the same issue/time period. You will receive the same helpful support from all advisors and this double booking leads to limited availability and confusion.
To learn more about prehealth advisors—including contact information—refer to the expandable sections below. If you have questions, call us at 919-684-6221 or email prehealth@duke.edu.
