The MPLS is anticipating selecting 35 students this year for a free LSAT prep class throughout the summer. Admission is highly selective and based on a holistic review of the MPLS application materials.
The program is open to current students and recent graduates from any undergraduate institution, as well as nontraditional applicants. Those from groups historically underrepresented in law school, or whose life experiences will bring a unique or fresh perspective to campus are especially encouraged to apply. Priority consideration will be given to students applying for the next cycle of law school applications.
Students will learn about law school admissions preparation from Minnesota Law School staff and hear career exploration talks from alumni on Mondays. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7Sage will offer LSAT preparation and practice exams. All class meetings are virtual and in the evening so students would also be able to hold an internship, attend summer classes, etc. in addition to participating in the program.
