LSAC has announced that it will be eliminating the LSAT remote testing option and will be moving to in-person only testing beginning August 2026. The remote testing option will only remain available for certain accommodations. Therefore, if you are applying to law school in Fall 2026 and would like to test remotely, the June 2026 test will be your last opportunity to do so. Students hoping to take the LSAT during the academic year should search for testing centers near Duke.
North Carolina currently offers six LSAT testing centers, which are ordered below by their proximity to Duke:
| Testing Center | Distance from Duke (West Campus) |
|---|---|
| Raleigh, N.C. | ~ 30 miles |
| Greensboro, N.C. | ~ 56 miles |
| Greenville, N.C. | ~ 110 miles |
| Charlotte, N.C. | ~ 149 miles |
| Wilmington, N.C. | ~ 155 miles |

A complete address for each testing site can be found on the LSAT registration page.
