Welcome to Global Health!

Studying global health at Duke gives you an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the world’s most complex health problems – and finding solutions that advance health equity for all. You’ll learn to study social determinants of health and the complex relationship between health and environmental, social and cultural factors. Along with the knowledge gained through global health coursework, you’ll have opportunities to further explore these relationships through fieldwork experiences and interactions within the global health community.

Duke global health graduates work in a variety of jobs across the nonprofit, healthcare, academia and industry sectors. Visit our alumni page to see profiles of a few of our grads and the many ways they are leveraging their global health skills.
