What does the GLobal, cross-Disciplinary advisor do?
The Global, Civic, Cross-Disciplinary advisor is committed to advancing the development of undergraduate students' global awareness, citizenship, and civic engagement through one-on-one specialized advising. They help you integrate your academic interests with opportunities beyond the classroom, and help you identify programs that best fit your interests and goals. The Global, Civic, Cross-Disciplinary advisor has broad knowledge of the many varied opportunities for engagement at Duke, and is a strong advising partner for students eager to explore these opportunities.
As of June 17, 2024, this position is vacant but should be filled by the start of the Fall term. Students can schedule general advising meetings with the AAC, or email with questions to advising@duke.edu.
