Jacob Margolis - Co-President

Jacob Margolis (he/him) is a senior studying Political Science and History. Originally from Towson, Maryland, Jacob is interested in commercial and family law. Outside of B&B, he also works in the Office of Pre-Law Advising and serves as a Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Duke Undergraduate Law Review.

Kate Donofrio - Co-President

Kate Donofrio (she/her) is a senior from NYC studying Political Science. After Duke, she is excited to leverage both business and law in the international development space. Outside of B&B, you’ll find her lounging in the gardens or tearing up the pickleball courts!

Ari Miller - PR Officer

Ari Miller (she/her/hers) is a sophomore majoring in Public Policy. She is from Marysville, Kansas, sings in Duke Chorale, participates in Duke Players and Hoof N Horn, and is a 2024 SOL Fellow. She hopes to pursue family and civil rights law.

Parishi Patel - PR Officer

Parishi Patel is a sophomore from Mooresville, NC, studying Political Science and International Comparative Studies. A fun fact about Parishi is that she is the first in her family looking to go to law school!

Kara Bivens - Pre-Law Office Liaison

Kara Bivens is a sophomore from Waxhaw, North Carolina, studying Political Science and Statistics with a minor in Spanish Studies. Kara is equally passionate about STEM and the social sciences, and she plans to incorporate all her interests into her future law career. Outside of Bench & Bar, Kara is a member of DTech and is a print editor for the Duke Undergraduate Law Review.

Kriti Vasudevan

Kriti Vasudevan is a junior at Duke, originally from Granite Bay, California, studying Computer Science and Public Policy with a minor in Economics. A fun fact about her is that she’s been collecting keychains for about 15 years and has almost 100!

Georgia Lazarus

Georgia Lazarus is a sophomore from Cape Town, South Africa. Georgia is studying Political Science with a minor in French and a Human Rights certificate. In the future, she hopes to tackle socioeconomic inequality through a career in international law. A fun fact about Georgia is that she is a certified yoga instructor!

Thomas Locascio

Thomas Locascio is a junior majoring in Economics with a minor in Chemistry. He is on the Pre-Med track and spent last semester abroad in Barcelona. He is interested in pursuing an MD/JD degree, with the intention of potentially looking into healthcare law.

Kimora Parboosingh

Kimora Parboosingh (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish and a Markets and Management certificate. Originally from Florida, her Jamaican heritage inspires her passion for international social advocacy and reform. Outside of B&B, she serves as a Head Tutor for ARAC, sits on the executive board for BPLS, and can often be found enjoying a Suits marathon!

Yinuo Tong

Yinuo Tong is a freshman from Beijing, China, hoping to major in Public Policy and Art History but still exploring her options. She is interested in the intersection between law, AI, and art. One fun fact about her is that she loves the history of the color blue.

Layelle Abou-Ezzi

Layelle Abou-Ezzi is a freshman intending to study Psychology and Public Policy. Coming from Andover, MA, Layelle is eager to apply insights from the social sciences to shape and improve legal practices.

Taran Srikonda

Taran Srikonda (he/him) is a freshman from Virginia studying Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Taran is passionate about technology's intersection with policy and law, specifically artificial intelligence and intellectual property law. Outside of B&B, he is also involved in the Duke Undergraduate Law Review and Duke Cyber.
