The law firm of Lightfoot, Franklin & White, LLC hosts an annual "Trial Academy" for rising college seniors and incoming law students. The program will take place June 8th-12th, 2026 in Birmingham, Alabama. Travel, accommodation, and meal expenses are covered by the firm. Participants will gain exposure to a leading boutique litigation firm while learning alongside Lightfoot's seasoned lawyers. This is one of the few programs that enables students to engage with real trial advocacy lawyers before matriculating to law school.
The application deadline is April 1st, 2026. All applicants must be 21 years old by the program date.
