Welcome to Environmental Science & Policy!

We are glad you chose to join us on your path to becoming a knowledgeable leader in environmental issues for a sustainable world. Given the breadth of environmental sciences (physical, life, and social), and their implications to policy, you will be able to create your own path within one of our major, minors and certificates. As you major advisor, one of our faculty members will help you navigate your major and guide your research interests.

Each week during the academic year we will send a digest with environmental events, jobs and internships, and program announcements. Every fall we host a Welcome Back meeting where you can meet other majors and minors, learn about new and pertinent information for the school year, and discover opportunities to get involved at the Nicholas School. You will be able to take advantage of the Nicholas School of the Environment programs as our majors within Trinity are uniquely situated in a professional school.

Advising

Once we are notified by the AAC that you declared one of our majors, we will send you a welcome email. The email will include an advisor assignment survey to help us assign an advisor matching your interests. You can request to keep your advisor, if your college advisor is on our faculty, or request a specific faculty member, but we can't guarantee that the faculty you request will be available.  For questions of an academic nature, such as advising, course requirements and transfer courses, study abroad, research, and graduation with distinction, contact Bill Pan, Director of Undergraduate Studies.
