As an Academic Dean, I support students who live or lived in Pegram or Randolph. I serve on the Courses committee, oversee House courses, and am the academic liaison for Robertson Scholars, for Duke Student Government, and for the Humanities to the DUS Program.
I am originally from Kansas and received my BA from the University of Kansas. After some time abroad, I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from UCLA. My research in philosophy is, broadly speaking, on the ethical implications of various forms of irrationality.
