The Academic Advising Center (AAC) oversees academic advising for Duke students until they declare their major during sophomore year. Through the AAC, students have a network of advising resources and services available to help them explore the many curricular and co-curricular opportunities at Duke:
We're available by phone at 919-684-6217 from 9:00-4:00 ET, Monday-Friday.
Come in with a quick question or to get additional input on your academic plans. We're available for drop-in advising from the first to the last day of classes during the academic year (except over winter and spring breaks):
- Tuesdays 2:00- 4:00
- Wednesdays 10:00 - 12:00
- Thursdays 1:00-3:00
Email us your quick questions and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Meet with A MEMBER of the AAC Advising TEAM
You can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment to meet with AAC staff if you have questions that require more time than a quick drop-in meeting. We're available to be a sounding board and provide additional insight into your academic plans and goals, that can supplement conversations with your college advisor and other members of your advising network. Schedule an appointment here.
