Graduate and Professional School Day 2016: Information for School Representatives

Welcome to the Graduate and Professional School Day (GPSD) website. The information contained on this page is intended for your use as a school representative. It offers specific information that we hope you will find useful as you consider whether your institution will accept our invitation to participate this year or as you make preparations to visit Durham on Monday, October 17 for the GPSD Fair. If you've attended one or more of our biennial GPSD events in the past, you may already be familiar with its basic structure, but please note that GPSD has moved from a mid-day to an evening event this year. If you're new to GPSD, the information we provide should help with your orientation and facilitate the experience for you. That is certainly our aim.

Registration for GPSD 2016

Due to space limitations, participation in GPSD 2016 is by invitation only,  and each school must be limited to one representative. We offer an online registration system for the convenience of schools invited to participate in GPSD 2016. Your registration provides us with important information about your institution and the graduate or professional program(s) that will be represented at the Fair, as well as the name of the individual who will be representing you. You will be able to pay the participation fee electronically at the same time that you register or later if you prefer (see details below).

Fee Schedule and Payment Options

Schools invited to participate in GPSD 2016 are expected to pay the following participation fee:

     Participation Fee:  $200

Note: Your representative should expect to share a table with another school, thereby permitting us to accommodate as many schools as possible at the Fair.

Payment Options:

The fee may be paid electronically by credit/procurement card (preferred method) either at the time of registration or later in the summer.

To register and/or pay the participation fee please visit the registration website

Payment by check is also welcome. If you opt to pay by check, please

  1. make the check payable to "Duke University";
  2. be sure to note "GPSD 2016" on the bottom corner of the check; and
  3. mail the check to:
    Conference Services
    Box 09841
    0066 Bryan Center
    Durham, NC 27701

Please keep in mind that payment is expected by October 1.  Fees are refundable if we are notified of any cancellations on or before this date.
