What the humanities DAE does

Humanities advising

Dr. Odendahl-James takes stock of your academic interests and advises you on ways to integrate meaningful humanities experiences into your academic life at Duke.

Humanities advising is available to all undergraduates, whether in Trinity College or Pratt School of Engineering, regardless of major or class year. Advising conversations with Dr. Odendahl-James will position you to dive deeper into your exploration of an arts or humanities discipline or pinpoint an area of humanities interest to accentuate your study of a different major or prehealth track.

Interested in opportunities in global and civic engagement, social sciences, or the natural and quantitative sciences? You can meet with a DAE who specializes in one of those areas.
