All appointments are held in the Academic Advising Center on East Campus, which is behind Brown and the Marketplace.

There is one exception: global/civic DAEs hold appointments for engineers in 215 Teer (in the DUhatch space) on Wednesday mornings. If you're an engineer, you can select one of those appointments by selecting "Global and Civic Engagement" under "Specialty" and then "Teer Appointments for Pratt" under "Advisor." Engineers are also welcome to make appointments at our East Campus office.

Please note: Appointments typically last one hour and will be scheduled during AAC business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). If you need to cancel or change your appointment once it has been set, please provide at least 24 hours notice. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will have to be rescheduled.

Note for study abroad students: Global/civic DAEs are not part of the Global Education Office (aka "study abroad"), though we work very closely with them. Some guidelines on how to choose which office best fits your needs:

If you have already selected a study abroad program and have specific questions about that program or the application process, you should meet with the Global Education Office. You can set up an appointment with them online or by calling (919) 684-2174. If you need a "study abroad advisor" form for a Duke-approved program signed, that must go to Global Education.

If you are unsure of where you'd like to go, you'd like to discuss how your study abroad plans fit in with the rest of your academic plan or you have questions about how your choice of major impacts your study abroad experience, please fill out the form above to meet with a global/civic DAE.
